Where Is Beaches Turks & Caicos?

Beaches Turks & Caicos is located on Providenciales, one of the most beautiful islands in the Turks and Caicos archipelago. Known for its powdery white sand and crystal-clear waters, Grace Bay Beach serves as the perfect backdrop.

The resort’s prime location makes it convenient for travelers from all over. The island’s friendly locals and safe environment make it an ideal choice for families.

Only 2 hours from Atlanta, and 3 hours from New York, making it a great option for a long weekend getaway or weeklong vacation.

Pro tip: If flying from the West Coast, we recommend flying into Miami or Charlotte the night before to avoid connection stress.

Key Tips For Your Beaches Turks & Caicos Resort Stay:

Village Choice: This is very important as each village has its own atmosphere and price range.

  • The Italian Village is central and family-friendly; some rooms have been modernized for 2026)
  • Key West Village is the quietest section and great for large families.
  • French Village is affordable and quieter, farther from the beach.
  • Caribbean Village is the most budget-friendly and beachfront; (Renovations to begin April 16, 2026)
  • Seaside Villas are romantic and private with family flexibility. (We love these as they’re closest to the beach)
  • Treasure Beach Village is the newest village at Beaches Turks & Caicos (opening March 2026). It is an all-club & butler level village and will feature the best of what Sandals 2.0 has to offer.

Resort Facts:

  • Beaches Turks and Caicos offers free childcare services for children aged 0 to 17.
  • The resort has a no-tipping policy for all staff except for butlers and spa therapists.
  • Grace Bay Beach is perfect for young swimmers due to the absence of large waves, thanks to the barrier reef.
  • Bring your snorkel gear down to Bight Reef and do some incredible snorkeling, just off the beach. Bight Reed is just a quick 10-minute walk from Beaches Turks and Caicos.
  • Room Service: Only butler-level rooms include room service. Concierge rooms offer guest support, preferred locations, and a private check-in, but no in-room dining unless you’re booked at Treasure Beach Village (opening March 2026)
  • Dining Reservations: Popular restaurants like Kimonos and Le Petit Chateau fill quickly; reserve early. Butler and concierge guests get priority. Guests can also make dining and activity reservations at the front desk upon arrival or at any time during their stay. Travel Tip: Take advantage of the dinner reservation feature inside the Sandals/Beaches app, where you can reserve one dining experience 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Arrival Day Pack: Keep a day bag with swimsuits and sunscreen so you can quickly enjoy pool/beach access if your room is not ready. Check-in time is typically 3pm, but if you have an earlier arrival, we will advocate for an early check-in.
  • Excursions: Water sports are first-come, first-served. Make sure to book special activities in advance. Especially dives. Get those booked on day one.

Beaches Turks & Caicos is more than a resort. Here is a quick summary of what each village is about.

  • Features the resort’s largest pool with a swim-up bar.
  • Family suites: bunk beds, trundles, mini-fridge, two TVs.
  • Butler suites are also available for those who want extra space and upgraded amenities.
  • Great for kids, with a zero-entry pool for the little ones.
  • Quiet, cozy, and ideal for large families.
Villas and some multi-bedroom suites include full kitchens, washers/dryers, and plenty of space.
  • Butler suites feature a personal butler and enhanced round-the-clock service..
  • Near the quiet section of the beach and the infants’ camp.
  • Our kids, when they were babies, tended to nap well on this side due to the calm, shaded areas throughout the village.
  • The Caribbean Village is directly on Grace Bay Beach.
  • It is the most affordable beachfront option, but the rooms are dated.
  • It’s close to Schooners (or personal favorite), The Jerk Shack, and food trucks.
  • Romantic, family-friendly
  • Quiet, spacious rooms
  • Closest to the beach. Our favorite room category is the P2 Seaside Two Bedroom Butler Villa.
  • French Village is an excellent value and offers some of the least expensive room options at Beaches Turks and Caicos
  • Walkout rooms are perfect for families of five (two double beds, one pullout).
  • Convenient access to breakfast and a 24-hour diner.
  • It’s also quieter at night, which is a huge win if your kids are light sleepers.
  • Ocean views and large seating areas for family gatherings
  • Modern, light interiors with coastal color palettes
  • 24-hour room service in every room category
  • Large balconies or terraces, some with rooftop decks and plunge pools
